Stoeger is expanding its STR-9 pistol lineup with the new STR-9 Combat X, a pistol created to exceed the standards for a modern military pistol. The STR-9 Combat X is based on Stoeger’s proven STR-9 polymer-frame striker-fired handgun series and has a distinctive frame design with begins with longer frame that extends to the front of the slide. This allows a three-slot accessory rail for a light or laser as well as an enhanced beavertail above the grip that ensures a solid purchase and maximum stability for sustained firing. The front strap is straight with dual stippling patterns across the grip for no-slip traction whether shooting with bare hands or gloves. The backstrap is interchangeable so shooters can customize the grip to match the hand size of all sizes of shooters.

There is also an undercut trigger guard and an oversized magazine well to facilitate fast magazine swaps. Other ergonomic touches include an ambidextrous slide-stop lever that is raised out from the frame to speed up reloads without losing grip position. The pistol also includes an ambidextrous slide-stop system for comfortable operation for both left- and right-hand shooters.

The STR-9 Combat X has endured 10,000 rounds of continuous fire without failure. This performance comes courtesy of precision-manufactured and robust trigger and slide internals combined with a newly designed barrel and black nitride-finished slide combination. There is an adjustable fiber-optic sight system, and a slide cut with a cover plate and adapter plates to accommodate the most popular pistol red dots on the market today.

Available with either 17- and 10-round magazines, the STR-9 Combat X is a mid-size 9mm that delivers everything you need in a modern defensive handgun backed by dependable, military-grade construction and performance.

MSRP for the new STR-9 Combat X is $599, and to learn more about this pistol or to see the full line of Stoeger handguns and shotguns, please visit stoegerindustries.com.
