Enthusiasts heading to South Dakota next month can start their Sturgis Motorcycle Rally experience using the latest from some the nation’s foremost leaders in the gun industry. Gunbroker.com will be holding the inaugural Gunfest Aug. 5 to 7 at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Shooting Complex, where attendees will have the opportunity to test firearms, ammunition and accessories.

The consumer event is designed to be interactive and engaging and allows legally registered participants the opportunity to get behind the triggers of some of the most popular firearms in a safe and controlled environment. Teams from each of the manufacturers will be on hand to answer questions, provide tips and offer encouragement.

AMMO, Inc., owner of GunBroker.com and a leading producer of high-performance ammunition and components, is donating cartridges. Other companies attending include Springfield Armory, KelTec, Walther Arms, Kimber America, Sig Sauer, IWI, Umarex Air Guns, Norma/RUAG, Black-Hills Ammunition, Pew Pew Nation Live Podcast, and more. AMMO Inc. will also showcase its new Green Streak ammunition that allows shooters to see the bullet’s path as it travels downrange.

The GunBroker.com team will be on hand to help attendees navigate GunBroker.com and assist with any purchases, including products featured at Gunfest. Firearms purchased on GunBroker.com will be delivered to the new owner’s preferred FFL transfer dealer, where they live, and all transfers must meet federal and state laws and firearm compliance regulations. GunBroker.com will be giving out free swag in its tent, while supplies last.

Gunfest runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and there is no entry fee. Attendees are, however, encouraged to expedite their entry by securing their punch card prior to arrival.

This year marks the 82nd Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. It runs Aug. 5 to 14 and last year it drew more than a half million people.
