Preview: VERSA Knife
The appropriately named VERSA Knife is a versatile rescue tool that incorporates a plethora of potentially life-saving features into its compact design.
A folding, liner-locking knife with a pronounced down-swept guard, the VERSA Knife’s 3.25″ stainless-steel blade begins with a 2″ serrated recurve section that transitions into a 1″ straight edge before terminating as a flat-head screwdriver. The rear of the blade includes index jimping for fine control and a cutout that serves as a tank key or valve wrench on oxy-acetylene bottles common to welding and torch cutting.
Soft rubberized inserts in the black polymer scales provide solid purchase, and a glass breaker, a strap cutter and a pry tool are integrated into the handle and pommel itself. Suggested retail is $69.
