Rock River ArmsĀ (RRA) has introduced a new AR-style rifle to its lineup, designed specifically with the modern hunter in mind, with the new All Terrain Hunter (ATH). The RRA ATH comes with an 18″ stainless-steel match barrel, which is cryogenically treated for enhanced accuracy and longevity. With a .223 Wylde chambering, the barrel has a 1:8″ twist rate for stabilizing various 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem. loads. RRA guarantees the accuracy of these barrels to shoot 0.75 m.o.a. at 100 yards. The barrels are threaded for 1/2×28 t.p.i., and come with RRA’s Operator muzzle brake attached.

Surrounding the barrel, the ATH includes a light-weight, free-floated 13″ handguard, which includes a Picatinny rail running across the top, with M-Lok sections machined into the sides and bottom. Both the barrel and handguard mate to a forged A4-style, flat-top receiver with Picatinny sections for mounting optics. The lower receiver includes several accessories included for greater ease of use by hunters, like the enlarged winter trigger guard and star safety selector which are more accommodating for thickly insulated gloves.

Also housed within the lower receiver is an RAA Two-Stage Ultra Match Varmint Trigger, which has a light takeup and 3.5 – 4 lbs. pull weight. The ATH also includes a Hogue rubber overmolded grip and a RAA Operator CAR buttstock, with incorporated battery storage. It comes with a 20-round steel magazine but can also accept all standard capacity AR-15 magazines. The RRA ATH has a suggested retail price of $1,425. For more information, visitĀ rockriverarms.com.
