Blending the company’s classic recurve blade design with a Tanto-style point, the CQC-15 folder from Emerson Knives is excellent at slicing and piercing and represents a distillation of the company’s signature features.
The patented Wave, an integral projection of the blade’s spine, facilitates rapid deployment from a pocket, and the knurled thumb button, attached atop the spine slightly farther forward, aids one-handed opening. The 3.9″ blade of 154 CM steel is 0.125″ thick and is available with or without serrations and in both black and stonewash finishes.
The titanium liner lock is expertly toleranced for a tight lockup, and the G10 scales are finely textured for a secure grip. Overall length open is 8.9″ and overall weight is 5 ozs. MSRP is set for $269. For more information, please visit emersonknives.com.
