True to its name, the Compact 3-9X 42 mm riflescope from Osprey Global measures just 9.13“ long—making it more than 3“ shorter than most scopes on the market of similar magnification range and objective diameter—and, with the included 30 mm rings, the optic weighs in at only 19 ozs.
Once mounted atop a gun, the scope’s most obvious feature is its extraordinarily generous eye relief; even at high magnification, the eye box is uncommonly large and forgiving. The Osprey Compact is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, and its second-focal-plane, mil-hash, range-finding reticle can be illuminated either red, green or blue (three brightness settings each) by a single included CR2032 battery.
