A. Manufactured to U.S. military specifications, Boyds Hardwood M1A Gunstock is constructed from solid, top-grade American walnut and designed to accept Springfield-brand receivers. Some fitting of the action is required. Options include walnut with an oil finish, unfinished walnut, black textured paint or green non-textured paint. Stocks are cut for a liner, but one is not included, and the handguard is sold separately. MSRP: $185; boydsgunstocks.com

B. Tested and combat proven, the Maglula LULA Loader and Unloader is built from durable reinforced polymer and fits M1A/AR-10 magazines with a rear catch. To load, simply rock the unit’s body into place and rotate the lock wire over the rear catch to secure the loader in place. Move the lever back and forth with one hand while dropping rounds, case first, into the magazine with the other hand. It can also be used to quickly unload magazines. MSRP: $28.75; maglula.com

C. Check-Mate M14/M1A Magazines are made from American milled steel, hardened for added durability and coated with a corrosion-resistant phosphate finish. An anti-tilt follower enhances feed reliability. Available finishes include Parkerized and stainless steel. Choose from five-, 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-round capacities. All magazines are backed by a lifetime warranty. MSRP: $27.82 to $42.27; checkmatemagazines.com

D. Comprised primarily of OEM components, the Smith Enterprise Standard M14/M1A National Match Trigger Group Upgrade includes the company’s enhanced hammer spring, originally designed by company owner Ron Smith and manufactured by famed competitive shooter David Tubb. The hammer and trigger pins are constructed from S7 tool steel and are finished in-house with salt-bath nitride. Average trigger-pull weights are reduced to a crisp 4.5-pound, no-creep let-off. MSRP: $130; smithenterprise.com

E. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the Ultimak M8 M14/M1A Forward Optic Mount 1913 rail is designed to clamp directly to M1A barrels that feature standard-weight profiles. Its ultra-low profile allows
for mounting intermediate-eye-relief (IER), Scout-style scopes, reflex sights and holographic optics while allowing for co-witnessing with iron sights. Bead-blasting and hardcoat anodizing provide a non-reflective, weather-resistant finish. Mounting hardware and instructions are included. MSRP: $202; ultimak.com
