I refer to anyone who operates in such a capacity as Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy as a Communist and he is surrounded by Communists in Connecticut who are hell-bent on crushing the once great state into a totalitarian island unto itself.

In his latest comments, the gun grabbing mayor blasted the National Rifle Association as a “terror organization.”

In an interview on Tuesday, Malloy said that his state would be boycotting the NRA.

“They act quite frankly in some cases as a terrorist organization,” said Malloy. “You want to make safer guns? We will boycott your company. That’s who they are. That’s what they do.”

“The NRA today is a far cry from the NRA that in 1999 said that teachers shouldn’t carry weapons in schools,” added Malloy. “Or in the 90’s said we should have universal background checks. They have in essence become a terrorist organization.”

No, they really don’t, but they have pointed out how stupid “smart guns” are and how easy they are to get around.  The safe gun is a gun in the hands of someone who respects the weapon, trains with the weapon, knows weapon safety and draws the weapon only to defend themselves or another.

Jennifer Baker from the NRA issued a statement in response to Malloy’s malicious “terror organization” comments.

“The NRA is comprised of over five million law-abiding citizens many of whom are teachers, doctors, policeman, farmers , moms  and dads residing in Connecticut. So let’s be clear Governor Malloy just called tens of thousands of his constituents terrorists.

Voters are fed up with politicians who engage in political stunts and childish name calling rather than serious policy discussions aimed at making our schools and communities safer. A perfect example is the absurd political stunt to remove NRA trainers from the permitting process in Connecticut. No organization in the world does more to promote the safe and responsible use of firearms than the NRA.

The NRA’s Basics of Pistol Shooting course is the best training available for anyone seeking to carry a concealed firearm for self-protection. Public safety isn’t improved by eliminating the NRA training and standards for Connecticut’s permit holders or by calling people who disagree with you terrorists.

NRA members love our children and want them to be safe just as much as anyone else we just disagree that punishing  law-abiding citizens who want to exercise their  constitutional  right to self-defense  is the way to achieve that goal.”

The comments came because of the fact that Connecticut is one of 15 states that recognizes NRA training.

“The idea that the NRA should be recognized as a voice for gun safety is ridiculous,” Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin said on Tuesday evening.

Ridiculous?  So, is not training people less than ridiculous, Mr. Bronin?

“If the NRA had its way we wouldn’t be permitting in the first place,” said Bronin, “This is an organization that opposes universal background checks despite the fact that overwhelming majority of Americans and even a large number of NRA members support universal background checks.”

Yep, and why?  Because the Constitution supports that position.  A right does not require permission to be exercised.

However, Bronin continues to promote the lie that this “large number of NRA members support universal background checks,” a lie that was put out by Shannon Watts of Michael Bloomberg’s Moms Demand Action.

NRA ILA spokesperson Catherine Mortensen rebutted Bronin’s asinine claim in a statement:

“No organization in the world does more to promote the safe and responsible use of firearms than the NRA. The NRA’s Basics of Pistol Shooting course is the best training available for anyone seeking to carry a concealed firearm for self-protection. By eliminating the NRA training and standards for Connecticut’s permit holders, Mayor Bronin is putting politics above the safety of Connecticut citizens.”

This is true.  While the NRA has a history of compromising on the Second Amendment, one thing is for certain, and that is their training promotes gun safety and the responsible use of guns.

Malloy is not the lone Commie gun grabber in Connecticut.  Right by his side is none other than Senator Chris Murphy, who continually pushes a gun confiscation agenda and following the Parkland, Florida shooting, he told some major whopper without doing his homework.

People like Malloy and Murphy may be American by birth, but they are certainly not American in ideology nor government. They are enemies of our republic. Make no mistake about it.
