This week, we’re taking a closer look at the CZ-USA Field Sports 712 G3. Designed as a do-it-all workhorse, the 712 G3 is as at home on the clays range, as it is in the duck blind. It manages this incredible feat of versatility by utilizing two gas pistons. The first, designed for target loads, will shoot all the way up through a mid-grade pheasant shell. For beefier upland loads, or magnum waterfowl charges, however, the user can swap in a different piston to reliably cycle the action, while bleeding off a little more of that stout recoil.
