New For 2022: SIG Sauer P320-XTEN
Until recently, fans of the 10 mm Auto had just one option in the SIG Sauer lineup in the form of its full-size, steel-framed P220 found in the company’s Legion Series. Now, SIG has expanded its P320 lineup with an offering in 10 mm Auto. The new SIG Sauer P320-XTEN incorporates many enhancements from the company’s XSeries collection while taking full advantage of the powerhouse 10 mm round.
Each SIG Sauer P320-XTEN is built with a 5″ bull barrel sitting inside an XSeries slide with an optics-ready cut, front and rear serrations along with a pair of XRAY3 day/night sights. The milled slide is designed to accept SIG’s ROMEO2 micro red-dot. The grip frame is also borrowed from the XSeries line, featuring a stippled treatment on each side of the grip, as well as on the frontstrap and backstrap. Control-wise, the gun features mirrored slide-stop levers and a reversible push-button magazine release.
The SIG Sauer P320-XTEN accepts a 15-round magazine, and two magazines ship with each pistol. The full-size gun measures 8.5″ long, 5.6″ high and 1.3″ wide and weighs 33 ozs., unloaded. A generous Picatinny accessory rail is located on the forward portion of the frame, and the pistol also comes equipped with a straight trigger blade as part of its XSeries enhancements. Retail pricing on the new P320-XTEN is $799. For more information, visit sigsauer.com.
